The "Muddy Bums" are folk who live in or around Northumberland and Tyneside who enjoy riding Mountain Bikes. We usually meet up at 10 am each Sunday at a chosen starting point for that day's ride. Mid week evening rides are also arranged and the occassional weekend away.

Our favourite places include The Cheviots, Hexhamshire Common, Slaley Forest, Roman Wall, Allendale, Simonside and Coquetdale. Rides in The Lake District and Yorkshire are also arranged for those who have the time and appreciation of these splendid mountain biking areas.
