RIDE PLANS
The Muddy Bums ride out almost every Sunday and details of the rides we are planning and the rides we have recently undertaken can be viewed below. Mid week rides are also arranged and details of those are given in the Forum.
FUTURE RIDES :
Sunday March 14th, 2010 - South Tyne Valley Rollercoaster - meet in Haltwhistle for a splendid ride up along the disussed South Tyne Valley Railway line to Alston and then return by some beautiful woodland and moorland trails. The route usually stays reasonably dry and mud free as it is on an old railway line, crossing the spectacular Featherstone Viaduct and climbing quite gently to Alston Station where there is a nice coffee shop. The return route can be varied depending on weather and stamina on the day. Meet at Haltwhistle Railway Station car park which is here for a 10am start.
